China Ecommerce Manager – Stockholm or Shanghai

Totême is looking for a business-oriented and results-driven China Ecommerce Manager to take ownership of Totême’s growth on Tmall in China. In this role, you will lead Totême’s daily operations on Tmall, working closely with local and global stakeholders and partners to grow and deliver best-in-class Tmall/ecommerce revenue and user experience. You will fill a key role in Totême’s continuous growth journey and report to the Ecommerce Director.

The role

  • Implement the digital sales and marketing strategy for Tmall with a focus on monitoring and securing results
  • Manage the day to day Totême Tmall store operations
  • Work closely with the Marketing/Ecommerce teams on the overall Tmall marketing roadmap
  • Align with the Brand and Marketing teams to leverage branding campaigns or promotion initiatives that lift Tmall traffic and sales
  • Collaborate with the Tmall team and partners to plan and execute key online shopping events on Tmall
  • Track and report on daily/weekly/monthly performance KPIs for the channel
  • Monitor and optimize Tmall paid traffic, revenue and target
  • Analyze the Tmall store’s free and paid traffic performance including online transactional KPIs and define strategic plans/actions to optimize the funnel accordingly
  • Oversee Tmall marketing content (copy and artwork) to increase click-through/conversion rates in line with Totême’s creative guidelines and minimize returns
  • Champion the Tmall channel to inspire internal/external stakeholders to align on and help implement the strategic direction and vision
  • Contribute with knowledge and analysis and present proposals, briefs, plans and activities to Management and cross-functional business teams
  • Provide feedback and direction on strategies and best practices to achieve objectives and determine the path forward for the teams to execute on

Your profile

  • 2-3 years’ experience from managing and leading a Tmall store for a strong lifestyle brand
  • 2-3 years’ experience from working with Chinese social media platforms

  • A strong team player happy to work collaboratively on a global scale
  • Very structured with strong organizational skills
  • Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English
