Totême is looking for a Visual Merchandising Manager to join the team in Stockholm. As Visual Merchandising Manager you will create and implement VM strategies for a unique shopping experience in Totême’s retail stores. You will support the Ecom and Wholesale teams with visual merchandising direction for Totême’s online channels and wholesale clients. In this role you will work closely with the Creative Director to ensure that each channels’ visuals reflect the brand identity and increase conversion.


The role

  • Plan, create and execute Totême’s overall visual merchandising strategy
  • Create a unique and luxurious in-store shopping experience 
  • Design appealing merchandise displays that attract visitors and maximize sales
  • Alter displays to promote new products, concepts and initiatives
  • Create templates and guidelines
  • Test different visuals and compare results
  • Lead, train and inspire the in-store Visual Merchandiser and retail staff
  • Support the Wholesale team and clients with visual merchandising direction
  • Support the Ecom team with online visual merchandising to maintain consistency and increase conversion 
  • Work with the Brand team to create special projects and installations in-store
  • Identify and track key KPIs and produce reports
  • Manage budgets, costs and expenses 
  • Stay up to date with industry and market trends
  • Liaise with the management team to execute strategies in line with business goals and long-term profitability 
  • Contribute with market trend information and sales performance analysis to help the Buying team define product mix and assortment plan
  • Propose action plans for VM based on local market needs
  • Make store visits and work alongside the retail team on the floor
  • Act as an ambassador for Totême by communicating the brand’s visual identity in-store

Your profile

  • A proven track record of working as a Visual Merchandiser in a retail environment, with online visual merchandising experience a plus
  • A degree in visual merchandising, exhibition design, visual communications or similar 
  • A strong visual portfolio
  • Knowledge and understanding of visual merchandising trends and best practices
  • A solid track record of leading creative processes and teams
  • Experience from working in a fast-paced retail environment

  • Interest in and understanding of the fashion industry

This part time position is based at Totême’s Stockholm office and stores with an immediate start.
